We are so pleased to welcome another new player to our ranks: violinist Anastasia Agapova! Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Anastasia is a recent graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. She came to the US in 2005 to study at Columbus State University as a student of Sergiu Schwartz, and she has won numerous awards in addition to soloing with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Anastasia loves playing chamber music as well as collaborating with contemporary composers, and she's a double threat as she also plays the viola! She loves running and is a big fan of Piedmont Park, and she's looking forward to exploring the Atlanta jazz scene. Welcome to the ASO, Anastasia!
