Although we would LOVE to fly up, we can not. Please tell me where to send a donation. My son is a music major (trombone) and we feel the musicians in the Atlanta Symphony are being shown no respect. You are all AMAZING musicians and we are sorry for how you have been treated. Please send us an address we can mail a donation.

Stay strong sisters and brothers! When they go after you for cuts and concessions, they are admitting their own incompetence - why can't they raise the money to fund a first-rate orchestra? The richest 10% have never been better off. The money is out there. If they don't know how to go get it, the board should fire the management and replace them with people who can do the job.

YOU are the orchestra! THEY are the parasites who make a more-than-ample salary from YOUR talent.

Good luck!

I still have their first album, the 2LP 'Nativity' produced back in 1975 and yes, I still listen to it! The growth of the orchestra since it was founded back in '45 is simply out-of-thi-world. The Atlanta Symphony musicians are immensely gifted artists and anyone who really understands music should very easily appreciate this fact. It's such a great shame that I missed their special benefit concerts on September 20 and September 21. I will keep on the watch out for new concert henceforth!
