Where were your ATL Symphony Musicians this summer? Violinist Jay Christy spent 6 weeks at the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina playing principal 2nd violin in the Festival Orchestra, teaching private violin lessons to students as well as coaching student chamber music groups and sectionals. Outreach doesn't stop at home. Many of us are out in communities when we travel enriching the lives of future musicians as well as nurturing the next generation of music-lovers and concert-goers!
